Re: Last movie you watched
Hotel Rwanda was an excellent movie in my opinion. If you liked it (and if you like reading) you should look into reading We wish to inform you that tomorrow we will be killed with our families by Philip Gourevitch. I had to read it twice in college for different poli sci courses, but it was actually a good read. It includes the story of the hotel manager from the movie, but also has stories of other people who were impacted by the genocide.
I watched Munich recently. I thought it was really good. The person i saw it with didn't think it was as good as everyone has been saying, but what does he know.

Re: Last movie you watched
i thought it was very controlled he ate 3 meals a day, and if he they asked him to super size it he did.
-
Re: Last movie you watched
he also ate until he puked sometimes as well as eating ice cream etc after his meal I think any person in their right mind would realize it's not okay to eat fast food 3 meals a day with dessert, no exercise, and eating until you feel like you're on the verge of puking. when you're full put down the fork and I'm not saying people don't do this but still it's common sense.

Re: Last movie you watched
Lets just say I have some "crazy fast food" eating experiences like the guy from super size me, in fact I was a manager at the Mickey's in Norton from the time I was 18-21. So basicly all I did the whole time was LIVE off mcdonalds food(saved a fourturne too). I went roughly 195-200 pounds the whole time I worked there, as soon as I stopped working there my diet changed and I lost 10 pounds pretty much right off the bat. Since then Ive lost another 10-15 pounds and consistently kept it off.
Its no secret how to lose weight people, burn more calories than you take in. This guy was probably eating 3500-4500 calories a day by doing that type of eating. Say his body can only manage to burn 2500 calories a day. Then hes gonna be gaining roughly 3-5 pounds a week. That will kill you.
Never eat more than 300 to 500 calories in one sitting, if you do it just goes to your belly because your body cant possibly use that many calories at one time for fuel. Eat more frequently(say 4 or 5 times a day), but less calories at a time. Keeps your metoblism working around the clock, and keeps those accumulated calories off your waistline.
Sorry to go wayyyyyyyyyy off topic like that...

Re: Last movie you watched
Watched "lord of war". I personally loved. As an semi-action movie about guns i would rate it a 10 out of 10. Cage did a great job of acting in this movie, and portrayed the character very well. The script was very well written as well. Great movie.
-
Re: Last movie you watched
Yeah lord of war is awesome...
I just watched "planes, trains, and automobiles" for the first time in years, it's still great....
-
Re: Last movie you watched
I watched Transporter 2 and The Man this past weekend. They both were good, The Man was definitly funny and different than any movie I've seen before. It was a good choice of actors for that movie.
-
Re: Last movie you watched
"Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" - funny stuff. Steve Martin and John Candy are awesome together. It has a really good heartfelt moral thrown into the plot. 7.5/10

Re: Last movie you watched

Re: Last movie you watched
warning--do not watch red eye!
-
Re: Last movie you watched
After looking at it, it looks almost the same as Flightplan...my dad picked them out yesterday so I don't know...probably watch them to waste time today before I go to work
-
Re: Last movie you watched
funny:
We watched Red Eye and The Perfect Man last night.
both were ok. The Perfect Man was a little better. The way Heather Lockler and Hillary Duff look mother and daughter was crazy.
I really just wanted to see Dennis DeYoung playing in Dennis DeYoung in a Styx tribute band but the whole thing was very cute.
Red Eye - man was that short or what.

Re: Last movie you watched

Flight Plan was the typical Jodie Foster film. She plays a frantic mother, etc. who goes against all odds and comes out on top. I was quite disappointed with the film.

Re: Last movie you watched

While it was ok, it wasn't great. kind of a mix of Top Gun - Firefox - and Knight Rider

Re: Last movie you watched
I just got home from watching Final Destination 3, which all in all was a pretty good movie. If you are a fan of the first two movies in this series, then I'd definitely recommend watching this one. There were some gory parts and one scene that was pretty nasty looking, I'll just say this, I'm glad I don't lay in a tanning bed.

Re: Last movie you watched
When A Stranger Calls- decent movie good suspense not really terrifying or anything though. IMOthey gave away too much of this one in the previews. okay movie. 7.5/10

Re: Last movie you watched
waiting......
wasn't bad, wasn't buy worthy. anyone who has ever been a waiter at a restaurant can deffinately relate to this movie. bringing out the food "perfect" and then gettin a dollar tip on a 40 dollar meal, always makes you feel good. I am kinda T.O.'ed because they did not use Dane Cook enough. I have been a fan of this guy since I first got in college 4 extremely long years ago, if this guy could get any breaks at all on a major movie he could be as popular as Chappelle is now. Well maybe not that cool but still he'd be up there.

Re: Last movie you watched
I saw pride and prejudice yesterday, and I strongly recommend it to all the girls out there. Such a good love story!!
I also saw Elizabethtown- it was okay but very similar to Garden State. Also saw the island a few weeks ago and didn't really care for it.

Re: Last movie you watched
I also rented Kingdom of Heaven with Orlando Bloom this weekend. I enjoyed it. Its set during or right before the Crusades. 8.5/10
